The new WordPress Flexsqueeze theme page buttons add a whole new look and feel to the theme. They make it a lot easier to create a regular WordPress static page or sales page. Below are the what you will find when building a sales page and more.
This is the general layout of the page with all the buttons visible. By clicking on a button and choosing a selection, the element is displayed in your page. There is no need to save your page to preview it. These buttons are exclusive to the Flexsqueeze theme.
The Box Button:
The box button allows the publisher to place customizable boxes and add the boxes to a page.
The Buy Buttons:
This one is self explanatory, but all you do is choose your button and add it into your page. Short codes are still accepted if the publisher still prefers to use the old short code buttons.
List Styles:
This button will add any of the list styles that you see below. These are not the only styles. More are available.
Font and Type Style Button:
This one will add in a ton of different font styles into a page. Just choose the one that is appropriate and then edit the text inside the page.
The Arrow Button:
The arrow button is used to add arrows into a page. These can be used to draw attention to a certain part of the text.
The Badge Button:
This button is used to add badges to a page. There are quite a few to choose from.
Page Divider Button:
These are many different kinds of page dividers that may be added into a page.
Bonus Boxes and Banner Button:
This button allows the publisher to add a banner and content into a page. Normally this is used to draw attention to specific areas on the page.
Special Columns Button:
This button is used to enter a number of different column types. They are all pre-formatted, clean and professionally done. Choose the style, add it to a page and then edit the text. This is a very simple way to save tons of time not having to create special tables or columns yourself. These come in really handy when you are trying to compare products or services. They also work with up sells.
Rating Button:
This is a very good addition to the theme. It allows you to add rating stars to a product or even a marketing profile. The star ratings are a welcome addition.
This button is used to add in quotes and testimonials.
The Opt-in Form Button:
Allows the publisher to easily add in an opt-in form right into the page. Use it to capture the names and email addresses of your visitor. It works great with Aweber.
The Custom Page Button:
This button is use to insert custom pages. It gives the publisher the ability to add in an entire sales page template. This is a major time saver. Everything added into the page can be edited.
That about wraps it up. Although this article was heavy on sales pages, these buttons also work great on with any static page. You do not have to use the features to create sales pages. I took the screenshots from my own theme install and all the features shown here work great. The images do not capture all the choices for each section, more choices are available. I updated an old Flexsqueeze 1.4 theme to 1.5 and had no issues with the update.
